A bit about me and what I do...
First and foremost, I'm a very proud dad. I have two incredible children -- Daniel, age 24, and Laura, age 22. Daniel lives with his lovely wife Courtney in Arlington, VA and Laura lives with her terrific boyfriend Thomas nearby in Larkspur, CA. Daniel is a graduate in Communications, specializing in sports broadcasting, from Northeastern University in Boston. Daughter-in-law Courtney holds both Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Education from Wheelock College in Boston and now teaches 2nd grade. Laura is currently studying Photography and Archeology at San Francisco State University.
I live on the shore of Strawberry Cove on San Francisco Bay in the city of Mill Valley, California.
Second, since 1989 I have been a psychologist, independent trainer, writer, and consultant specializing in team-building, communication, and problem solving -- primarily, but not limited to, public and independent school settings throughout the United States.
I was formerly the Director of Education, Public Information Officer, and Volunteer Program Coordinator at the National Park Service's San Francisco Maritime National Historical Park.
Before NPS, I was a K-6 classroom teacher, literacy specialist, school administrator, and district curriculum specialist.
